So After 40 Years, Not Liking Homos is Bad

Now I'm not a homophob, I just don't agree with homosexuality RELIGIOUSLY. Do I think that they should get the same tax and insurance benefits as a straight married couple? Yes. Do I think it should be called marriage? No. They have no problem coming up with other names for other gay things, the shouldn't have a problem coming up with a name for gay marriage.

Now on to the real topic: Miss California.

"We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite. And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised."

Now let's analyze this statement:

"We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite." What I read is "The answer I should give you is: we live in a country where you can choose whether or not you support same-sex marriage or not." Ok, ok legit enough.

"And you know what, I think in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman." Now before I say what I read, let's define marriage.
Mar-riage, (n): 1 the formal union of a man and a woman, typically recognized by law, by which they become husband and wife. (2) a SIMILAR long-term relationship between partners of the same sex. So according to Oxford American dictionary, same-sex marriages aren't "technically" marriage; and the formal definition is between man and woman. Ok, now, what I read "And just so you know, in my OPINION, not the opinion of my state or country, I think that marriage should be between man and woman." Ok, again, fair enough, we all have our views. Now people may not agree with this statement, but her following sentence clarifies things a little bit.

"No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised." I read, "My opinion is only that, my opinion, if you disagree, than disregard what I'm saying and continue living your life, I can't help the way I was brought up, just like you can't help the way you were born." Set. Match. A beautiful answer. She stated how she appreciates the freedom some people can have with who they love, she states her own personal opinion (which was the point of the question) and she adds a disclaimer at the end saying that she means nobody harm by what she said.

Here was the Miss California co-director's response: "As co-director of the Miss California USA, I am personally saddened and hurt that Miss California believes marriage rights belong only to a man and a woman," said Lewis in a statement. "I believe all religions should be able to ordain what unions they see fit. I do not believe our government should be able to discriminate against anyone and religious beliefs have no politics in the Miss California family."

This twit obviously doesn't understand how religion works. This guy (may I remind you, his name is Keith, the ugliest of all guy names) feels that this girl should change, not only the entire way she thinks, but how the entire way 33% of the Earth's population feels. Alright buddy, good luck.

What I read from his statement is: "As a pretentious douche, I am offended that Miss California doesn't have the same opinion as me; and the fact that her religion doesn't have the same opinion as me either, hurts me. We all know that Christians are quick to change the way they believe, and as such, should do so when it comes to one of the most sacred of Christian rights, holy matrimony. Also, the way Miss California's family was raised is utter bullshit because I say so."

I wanna make sure everyone reads this "and religious beliefs have no politics in the Miss California family." Now, I don't know about you, but when I read "in my family" in Miss California's answer, I read "in MY family". A few things.

A. When does she mention how other Miss California contestants feel.
B. When does she ever mention her Religion.
C. She doesn't mention marriage RIGHTS.
D. Our government DOES discriminate against people, regardless of their religious beliefs.
E. Fuck you Keith Lewis.

Now if this is why she lost, than that is bullshit. If she lost because her fake looking boobies
gross me out, than that's understandable. Don't think they're fake? Well think again, I'm a certified boob connoisseur. Boobs should not sit in a bikini like that naturally. I know that the Miss USA pageant doesn't discriminate against people who have the money to pay for a boob job, but I would still vote down depending on how real the bresticles looked.

  1. I was going to do an article on this, but I changed my mind. I find it interesting how all these Hollywood Libs are going crazy because this chick said she is personally against gay marriage So they trash her all week, meanwhile they practically worship Barrack and he has stated in many debates that he is against gay marriage ...go figure.
